The University of Leeds has moved up two places to 21st position in the 2026 Complete University Guide.
Professor Hai-Sui Yu, Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, said: “I am pleased that the University has improved its position amongst the UK’s top universities in the Complete University Guide.
“In a highly competitive student recruitment market, we know that reputation matters, and that our strong standing in guides such as this helps us to attract talented students to study at Leeds.”
The University has improved its ranking in several of the individual measures: entry standards, academic services spend, facilities spend, continuation as well as student – staff ratio. Leeds also has 21 individual subjects ranked in the top ten in the Guide’s Subject League Tables 2026.
