I lived in Devonshire Hall in my first year and absolutely adored it. The grounds are beautiful, lots of green spaces, as well as a gym and very sociable communal spaces. I became the social exec secretary and helped organise trips as well as nights out, a big Christmas Ball and the highlight of the Devonshire year: DEVWEEK! This was a whole week of fun and activities after our final exams that culminated in a day-long festival, DEVFEST, in the grounds of Devonshire. I met so many friends living there, it’s very inclusive and sociable – it feels like a community and that’s why I loved it. Whether you are into rugby or Quidditch, you’ll make lots of friends.
