I signed up to the Swimming and Water Polo Society at the Freshers' Fair in my first week. I played games, went to socials and met some of my closest friends through this. I also joined Leeds Student Radio to find out how I could further my DJ-ing opportunities. Clubs and societies are a great way to meet people outside your course or your accommodation. There are so many to choose from, you can try anything you want.
