Our partnerships with education providers, charities and voluntary organisations support learners from early years engagement through to higher education, skills development and lifelong learning.
We focus on widening access, improving outcomes and responding to regional priorities. We collaborate with other HE institutions through Go Higher West Yorkshire, connecting us to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and other key organisations.
Through our Access and Outreach work and flexible study routes, including foundation year courses, we support prospective students on every step of their journey to becoming a university student. We work with schools and colleges across the UK, and help parents and supporters to minimise barriers and enable progression.
We're committed to improving education and life chances in Leeds. We are partnered with IntoUniversity to engage with young people in the city and help them to reach their potential.
We sponsor University Technical College Leeds, which nurtures the next generation of engineers, scientists and innovators. Leeds Mathematics School, a partnership with Gorse Academies Trust, attracts talented students from across the region.
We embed real-world learning within our Leeds Curriculum. We work with local organisations, schools and businesses to enable students to gain practical experience and develop employability skills, while contributing to regional challenges.
This is supported by our Access and Student Success Strategy, including targeted work on student wellbeing and progression.
