There are a range of options if you do not meet the requirements for direct entry onto undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at the University of Leeds.
University of Leeds International Foundation Year
The Bachelors degree with integrated International Foundation Year begins with the International Foundation Year programme and will be four, five or six years in length depending on your choice of degree. You select which degree to progress onto at the point of application – there are over 150 courses to choose from.
This initial year prepares you for entry onto an undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds. Based on our campus, all of your teaching will be delivered by University of Leeds academics and you with have full access to all University facilities.
Study Group: Leeds International Study Centre
The Leeds International Study Centre International Foundation Year delivered by Study Group, will allow you to progress to year one of a range of undergraduate degrees at the University of Leeds. It will help you to develop the skills and knowledge you need to succeed at university, but provides more flexible entry requirements and an additional start date in January, as well as September.
The Leeds International Study Centre also offer International Year One programmes in certain subjects, allowing progression to year two of some undergraduate degrees. For both of these programme options you will be based at the Leeds Beckett University campus.
Northern Consortium UK (NCUK)
The University of Leeds is an owner member of NCUK, which delivers undergraduate International Foundation Years, International Year Ones and Masters Preparation programmes at teaching centres worldwide across Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Central Asia, China, Middle East, South Asia and UK/Europe. Successful completion of NCUK qualifications enables progression to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the University of Leeds.
