Our activities include global webinars, Q&As, offer holder groups and events in your region or country. You will hear from staff in our international teams, alumni and current students.

Global pre-departure online event
This online event was hosted on 17 July, where University of Leeds staff and students provided important information about visa and immigration, travel and arrival, and what to expect during your time at Leeds.

International Foundation Year
This event is open to students who will be starting their International Foundation Year programme at Leeds this Autumn.
Preparing to start your International Foundation Year Information Session
Join academic staff and Link to Leeds ambassadors at this online event to gain information about what to expect from studying at a University, how you can prepare for your studies and practical tips for making sure you arrive on time and ready for your course.

Hong Kong Pre-Departure briefing from British Council for UK-bound students
The British Council Education team will host a pre-departure briefing for UK-bound students in Hong Kong. This event (conducted in Cantonese) will provide essential information on studying in the UK, including tips for preparing for travel and what to expect when students arrive in the UK. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions directly to a representative from UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) and hear tips about overseas banking.
