Rethinking events

We invite you to our series of Rethinking events where we explore a series of contemporary issues that are the building blocks of the work of our Network:

Rethinking emergency and crisis (on campus) – 16 January 2024, 1pm to 2pm

We will explore what is at stake for Remaking Places through the language and contexts of crisis and emergency – both climate, ecological and social.

How can we think and act with a growing unease about converging and accelerating crises and emergencies?

Location: Fairburn House, University of Leeds.

If attending in person, feel free to bring your own lunch from 12.30pm.

Rethinking change (online) – 30 January 2024, 1pm to 2pm

Change is always happening, but how can we understand, manage and harness change in our efforts to Remake Places – especially through change that is systemic, emergent and aimed at increasing outcomes for people and planet?

Please log on by 12.45pm for a 1pm start.

Rethinking hope and imagination (online and on campus) – 20 February 2024, 1pm to 2pm
