Arriving at Open Day

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to campus and showing you everything Leeds has to offer.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly student ambassadors. They’ll be dressed in red t-shirts, ready to answer questions, and make your Open Day experience as smooth as possible.
What to do when you arrive
On arrival, scan the QR code on your personalised booking page at one of our check-in and registration points. This can be found on your booking confirmation email. Simply search ‘Your Open Day booking confirmation’ in your emails and follow the link.
Where to check in and register
There are five check-in and registration points on Open Days at the main campus entrances. These are:
- Main entrance, near Michael Sadler Building.
- E C Stoner Building.
- Henry Price Residence.
- The Edge sports centre.
- Central Village.
Please remember to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of any scheduled talks.
Collect your Open Day guide
When you check in, you’ll be given a printed copy of our Open Day guide.
This guide is key to getting the most out of Open Day. It’s full of helpful information, including a campus map, session locations and times, and even the best spots to grab a well-earned bite to eat!
What to bring to Open Day
- Your personalised booking page with your ticket – displayed on your phone using a light background, if possible. This can be found within your booking confirmation email.
- A pen and paper to take notes.
- Whatever you need to move comfortably around campus. The University covers a large area, so be prepared to move around for most of the day.
Where to store luggage
Limited short-term storage for luggage is available. Please ask one of our friendly student ambassadors in a red t-shirt on the day if you require this facility.
Campus photography
The Open Day is a public event, and an official photographer will be taking photographs and video. This may be used by the University for publicity and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to take part, please notify the photographer.
