The Institute for Societal Futures will empower colleagues from all disciplines to work together on addressing major social issues, in order to transform society for the benefit of all.
It will co-create and deliver research and innovation through partnerships with policymakers, businesses, government and the public, to shape our inclusive future society.
As well as driving and resourcing cross-faculty inter-disciplinary collaborations that will unleash the enormous potential to address key social problems, it will engage in outreach activities from local to global geographies to co-create positive societal change.
The Institute will also deliver interdisciplinary postgraduate education (Masters and Doctoral training) in a range of related topics, upskilling the next generation of leaders and practitioners.
