At Leeds we help you to prepare for your future from day one. Our Leeds for Life initiative is designed to help you develop and demonstrate the skills and experience you need for when you graduate.
We will help you to access opportunities across the University and record your key achievements so you are able to articulate them clearly and confidently.
What can you access?
At the heart of Leeds for Life is personal tutoring. You will have one-to-one meetings with your personal tutor throughout your degree to support your personal and academic development, helping you to become a confident and articulate graduate.
Leeds for Life provides opportunities such as volunteering, studying abroad or joining one of hundreds of student societies. You will also be able to access your personal development timeline through the Leeds for Life website. This will help you to record your activities and achievements at Leeds to help you to apply for jobs or further education.
Discovery modules give you the opportunity to study a topic outside of your degree and broaden your education and experience. The modules are available on almost all of our degrees and give you access to the wide range of expertise available at Leeds.
You could study enterprise and innovation, exploring the sciences, or creating sustainable futures, as well as many other topics.
