Masters pre-sessional English  Academic year courses

During the academic year, we offer Masters pre-sessional courses starting in September/October or January.

With our academic year courses, you’ll be able to:

  • learn the academic English you’ll need to study at postgraduate level
  • get to know other Masters students and build a community of peers
  • become familiar with University facilities such as libraries, study spaces and learning platforms, and settle into life in Leeds.

The length of course you need depends on your current level of English and on the level required for your degree.

You can find the English language requirements for your degree in the entry requirements section of your Masters course page

  1. Choose your year of entry.
