My role

I am a teaching fellow in the Lifelong Learning Centre and I also support the Programme Manager with all aspects of programme development, quality of teaching and learning, student support and recruiting students to full-time and part-time courses in Business.

I have teaching responsibilities for the part-time BSc Business Management and Leadership and the full-time BSc Business Studies with Foundation Year. In addition, I am a research project supervisor and personal tutor for students on these programmes. 

Over the last 30 years I have worked as a manager in the Further and Higher Education environment where I both taught and managed Business programmes. I have developed business programmes with partner colleges and universities.  

Research interests 

My research interests are, academically, the development of management and form a pastoral capacity, the Widening Participation for students. 

Qualifications

My qualifications are LLB (Hons), MBA and a Senior Fellow of the HEA.
