I help groups of adults explore their options in education. I work closely with community organisations across Leeds and Wakefield, with a particular focus on groups that are under-represented in Higher Education.
Through taster sessions and outreach visits I provide information for adults about the opportunities that exist for them to explore whether higher education is something they might like to pursue.
I work in partnership with a wide range of statutory and voluntary sector organisations, and continually look for ways to add value to the vital work they do.
I have particular interests around asset-based community development, health inequalities and the links between education and health outcomes.
I am listed as an External Co-Investigator on a research project which looks at addressing health inequalities. This is a pilot evaluation on healthy eating intervention.
