Offer holder events 2023

Congratulations on your offer to study with us! Your choice of university is really important and we want you to have all the information you need to help you make the right decision.

To help you find out more about your course and the University, we will be hosting a number of offer holder events on campus.

These events are a great opportunity to:

  • learn more about your course
  • chat with staff and current students
  • find out more about how the Lifelong Learning Centre supports Foundation Year students
  • experience a taste of student life at Leeds

In addition to your subject activities, you will also have the opportunity to take part in drop-in events across the University, such as student-led tours, talks and an information fair.

Events will run from February to April 2023 and you will need to book your place in advance.

What to expect on your offer holder day

Lifelong Learning Centre activities – 1pm to 4 pm

  • 1pm to 2pm – Introduction to the Lifelong Learning Centre
  • 2pm to 3pm – An introduction to your Foundation Year course and a taster teaching session
  • 3pm to 4pm – Campus tour

Subject activities must be selected when you book your place on an offer holder event.

University-wide activities

You may choose to arrive in Leeds earlier to take advantage of the activities happening around campus from 11 am. This will include student-led tours of Leeds University Union and The Edge Sports Centre, an accommodation talk and an information fair in Parkinson Court, where you can find out more about accommodation and student finance.

Accommodation talk

Attendance at an accommodation talk is by pre-booking only

We suggest you book your offer holder event first and then return to this page to book your place at an accommodation talk. Once you’ve booked your place at an accommodation talk, you’ll receive an email confirming your booking. Please keep this email to hand as you may be asked to show it when you arrive at the talk.

You can also find out more about accommodation at Leeds by speaking to staff at the Information Fair in the Parkinson Building. You can attend the fair from 11:30am on the day of your event.

Recorded talks

Offer holder events are the best way to experience our community and campus, but if you aren’t able to attend you can find out more about key aspects of life at Leeds by watching our recorded talks.
