Support for research, teaching and development

To help support and encourage effective communication between colleagues across the University, we have a number of useful tools. These include:

Development programme

The final touches are being made to the UAF development programme which will cover a range of topics under the broad headings of student education, research and innovation and academic leadership.  Further details will be available in due course.  Of course, should you wish to attend any other courses currently on offer through SDDU please feel free to do so, in consultation with your line manager.

Finding funding

The Funding Development Team within the central Research and Innovation Service (RIS) leads on designing and implementing University-wide funding strategies for all public sector funding, covering UK (research councils, charities and Government funding), EU (Horizon 2020) and International streams. The team is the first point of contact for tailored information on relevant funding opportunities for our University Academic Fellows and provides bespoke support from conception of the initial idea to submission of a completed bid.
