Be Curious
Be Curious 2026
Saturday 16 May, 10am to 4pm
Join us for a fun and free family activity day at the University of Leeds. Explore hands-on experiments and eye-opening discoveries for children, from toddlers to older kids.
Some activities require a ticket as spaces are limited and they run at set times. Book your slot on our Activities page.
Accessibility at Be Curious
We’re always working to make Be Curious as accessible as possible.
We run a quiet hour from 10 to 11am for visitors who prefer a calmer start. Visitor numbers are limited so you can explore at your own pace. If you’d like to get familiar with the space first, you’re welcome to arrive from 9.30am.
You’ll need a free ticket, please book in advance or try on the day if spaces are available.
On the day you can expect:
- Step-free access across all buildings
- Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities
- Gender neutral toilets in Leeds University Union
- Quiet spaces open throughout the day, marked on the event map
- A live heat map showing busy and quiet areas
- Multi-sensory activities throughout
Find out more about accessibility at Be Curious on our event information page. If you have any other questions or additional requirements, please email the Be Curious team at BeCurious@leeds.ac.uk
