Making the most of lockdown | 27 May, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | Whether you are preparing for university or a return to studies, we will answer any questions you may have about how you can make the most of your time at home, signposting you to any relevant online work experience opportunities, virtual workshops and learning materials. Suitable for Years 10, 11, 12/1 and 13/2.
Student life & why choose Leeds | 10 June, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | Would you like to learn more about what university life is like at Leeds? What does the campus and the City have to offer? Ask current students about their experiences and get the lowdown on the courses available, facilities, opportunities and support for new undergraduates. Suitable for Years 12/1 and 13/2.
Research and study skills | 24 June, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | Are you undertaking the HPQ, EPQ or IB Extended Essay? Maybe you would simply like to ask staff about how you can prepare for university-level study? Wherever you are in your educational journey or research project, we are here to help. Suitable for Years 12/1 and 13/2.
Choosing a course and university | 8 July, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | With over 55,000 courses and 150 universities to choose from in the UK, it can be a little daunting getting to grips with how and where you start researching your options. Join us to ask any questions you may have about courses at Leeds, entry requirements and the online tools available to help you make informed decisions about your future. Suitable for Years 12/1 and 13/2.
Personal statements | 22 July, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | What should you include? How do you structure your statement? What are admissions tutors looking for? Are there any dos and don'ts? We will answer any questions you may have and provide top tips on how you can write an effective personal statement. Suitable for Year 12/1.
Results day | 5 August, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | 2020 will be an unprecedented year for those receiving their examination results. What will happen? What are your options? Will places still be available at Leeds through Adjustment and Clearing? Admissions staff will take your questions and provide as much clarity as possible. Suitable for Year 13/2
Access to Leeds | 19 August, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | Our widening access scheme offers eligible students the chance to study an undergraduate degree with lower entry requirements than those listed on our course pages. Ask us about how the scheme works, whether you meet the criteria, how to apply and what financial support packages there are available. Suitable for Years 12/1 and 13/2.
Student Finance | 2 September, 3:00pm - 5:00pm | An opportunity for you to ask us about tuition fees, living costs, how to budget and what other costs to expect at university. We will also answer any queries you may have about the scholarships and loans available. Suitable for Years 10, 11, 12/1 and 13/2.
