Parent and carer communications privacy notice

Find out what data we collect, why we collect it and how long we keep it for, when you agree to stay in touch with us.

To organise events and activities:

We ask for your name and contact details, postcode and any access or dietary needs you have. This is so that we can organise activities, such as webinars and focus groups, and support you to take part. We collect this information on forms and keep it until the end of the event, unless you sign up to our mailing list (see next section).

We will keep your postcode for up to three years, so that we understand the impact of the activity and any improvements we need to make.

To send you information about other events and activities:

If you sign up to our mailing list we will keep your name, email address and postcode to send you updates about our events, activities and other relevant information to support you and your child in applying to higher education. We keep this information for up to two years, but you can update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Improving what we offer:

If you give us your permission, we may invite you to take part in evaluation surveys or focus groups to help us to improve the service that we offer to schools, colleges, young people and those who support them. To do this we will ask you for your name and contact details, the name of the school your child attends, the subjects you are interested in and your opinions on a range of things such as education and opportunities for young people. We will keep your personal details until the end of the event and then delete them.
