Located at the heart of campus Leeds University Union (LUU) is one of the largest unions in the UK. From shops, bars and clubs to the student advice centre, it has everything you need for life as a student.
The Union is home to over 300 activities, clubs and societies and runs a programme of 'give-it-a-go'sessions throughout term-time. There's a whole range of fun and interesting things for you to do in your free time everything from football to wine tasting and even Quidditch. Leeds' award winning media groups are among the best in the UK. From Leeds Student Radio, to LSTV and The Gryphon newspaper, theres a range of activities for you to take part in. Our media societies have kicked off many careers in the media. Jay Rayner (The Observer), Nicholas Witchell (BBC) and Paul Dacre (Daily Mail) all started out by getting involved with student media at Leeds.
