At the University of Leeds we work hard to meet the needs of our diverse student population and our campus is generally accessible for people with mobility difficulties. The disabled access route around campus is clearly signed. Just look for the 'North South Access Route' signs or ask one of our student ambassadors (wearing red t-shirts) for directions.
Where possible all activities take place in locations with wheelchair access, however due to the large number of rooms in use on open days there will be restrictions to some rooms. If you are interested in a talk or activity that is happening in a non-accessible room, please contact us, so that we can make alternative arrangements. You can also pick up information on courses from the subject drop in sessions, all of which are in accessible venues. Please see the open day guide for times and locations.
If you require any open day information in alternative formats, such as braille or large print, please contact us
To help you while you're here we can provide personal assistants, note-takers, and sign language interpreters. If you require support, please contact us on 0113 343 4830 or email email@example.com. The deadline for requests for additional support is Friday 29 August (for September open day) and Friday 26 September (for October open day).
Please note, requests made after the deadline cannot be guaranteed.
We have a limited number of parking bays reserved for disabled visitors. If you are a Blue Badge holder and require parking please ensure that this is indicated on your booking form. Please note that we are unable to guarantee requests for disabled parking received less than 48 hours before the event. For enquiries relating to disabled parking email firstname.lastname@example.org
