The University of Leeds has a broad range of state-of-the-art equipment and research infrastructure, and has a strong commitment to working collaboratively with national and international research institutions and companies, and sharing its research facilities.
In light of the Wakeham report on Financial Sustainability and Efficiency in Higher Education, we are currently classifying all equipment of value greater than £25K according to a standardised taxonomy to make it easier to search and find what you need.
A fully-searchable database of this equipment will be available by March 2012, but prior to this any researcher/institution interested in using our research equipment and infrastructure should contact Catherine Wearing to discuss.
To find out more about some of the facilities and equipment we can offer visit the current facilities page or contact us at business@leeds.ac.uk
The University of Leeds Driving Simulator is one of most advanced worldwide in a research environment and allows research into driver behaviour to be performed in accurately controlled and repeatable laboratory conditions.
