Mobile apps from the University of Leeds

We have launched two apps: UniLeeds, which offers a range of services to our students, staff and visitors, and Blackboard Mobile™ Learn, which provides mobile access to the University's VLE (Virtual Learning Environment).

Using UniLeeds

UniLeeds integrates key services for mobile users and brings them together in one app. The app offers a set of tasks and information, which was selected based on student feedback.

• Library catalogue
• Campus maps
• Computer cluster availability

• Leeds University Union
• Latest University news and events

The app is designed to work on iPhone, Android™ and BlackBerry® devices and provides mobile web pages for other operating systems. It also works on tablets.

Access to personalised content (timetable and library records) is secured through your ISS user ID, so you can be confident you’re not compromising any personal information while using the service. Guest users can log in and access general content, making the app available to all staff, students and visitors.

Blackboard Mobile Learn – the VLE at your fingertips

With the Blackboard Mobile Learn app you can access the University's VLE from your mobile device. Use content and tools from your modules in the VLE at your convenience, whether you’re a student or a member of staff.

Blackboard Mobile Learn is available for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android.
