Professor David Hogg

David Hogg is responsible for promoting the University's research agenda, developing research opportunities, encouraging regional, national, and international collaborations, and working with faculties to develop effective structures for the support of research.

He chairs the Research and Innovation Board and has oversight of the Graduate Board (where the chair is taken by the Dean for Postgraduate Research Studies). Research and Innovation Services (RIS) report to him. He is leading strategic initiatives on research income, the development of research metrics, and research postgraduates.
